An electric strike replaces the fixed strike plate on a door frame. When energized by a button, keypad, or card reader, the strike releases the latch allowing the door to open without a key.
HES — The most widely specified electric strike brand in commercial construction. The HES 4500 Series is a heavy-duty strike for mortise locks; the HES 5200 Series suits cylindrical locksets in narrower frame applications.
