FAQs

What's the difference between the standard and Pro Series Bluetooth padlock? The Pro Series (6400 line) has a heavier-duty body built for higher-security applications; the 4401LHEC is the lighter-duty entry point into the same app-based access system.

Do I need Wi-Fi for these locks to work? No — unlocking happens directly over Bluetooth between your phone and the lock. An internet connection is only needed to issue new codes or review the access log remotely.

What is the Bluetooth Door Controller used for? It installs into an existing electric strike or magnetic lock to add Bluetooth and code-based access to a commercial door opening — it's a component for installers, not a lock you buy on its own for a gate or cabinet.
